With Trump and Schedule F, America will proudly follow the great examples of Mao's Great Leap forward, and Putin's Russia. I very much doubt the results will be any better for America and its citizens.

The politization of the public servant roles is exactly what happened there prior to the really dumb decisions like, say, the war in Ukraine, due to political appointees and bootlickers reporting what "the great leader" wanted to hear instead of the facts. Those same people are responsible for the laughable state of Russia's military (thankfully, I guess) - but the way you guys are going, this will be the US soon.
